I can explain…

Who the heck do I think I am?

I’m Kentucky-born journalist-turned-church secretary-turned-romance novelist. (That’s the normal career progression, right?) I hold a degree in print journalism from Western Kentucky University. And I like to think as someone who regularly meets deadlines, I’m still using it in some fashion. I live in my small hometown in western Kentucky, where I live with my high school sweetheart/husband and our two children.

I’m the author of almost twenty novels and novellas through Pocket Books, most of them involving vampires and werewolves. My first book, Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs, came out in 2009. My most recent title, The Single Undead Mom’s Club was released in October 2015.They are available in print, as e-books and audio books at all major book retailers.

I’m represented by Natanya Wheeler of the Nancy Yost Literary Agency. I recently announced the addition of two new titles to my popular Half-Moon Hollow series (Pocket Books) and a new contemporary romance series, currently called the SOUTHERN ECLECTIC series, also to Pocket Books.

  1. Hi Molly , I love your books ! they are amazing! The book ” And One Last thing…” was my favorite. I have to ask , will you be making another book following ”And One Last Thing”? I really want to know how everything turns out; Monroe and Lacey are irresistible and Mike (The Stinger) what will he turn out to be like? One last question , is your book based some events that happened in your life ? or is it all fiction?

    1. Thank you, AND ONE LAST THING is my baby, too. You’re not supposed to have a favorite child, but when it comes to my books, I’m a terrible writer-parent. At the moment, there are no plans for more books in that line. BUT I am working on a new contemporary series which is scheduled for 2017.

  2. Hi. I want to know why book 2 – the art of seducing a naked werewolf is so expensive on kobo.
Book 1 and book 3 are affordable and reasonable priced.

  3. I just love your books. My job is super serious and I have to manage some very unpleasant stuff. I look forward to getting in my car after a home visit to listen to them. Thanks!!!

  4. Do you plan on adding a 4th book to the naked wear wolf series? They are one of the few things that keep me sane while being up all night with my baby.

      1. Nooooo! I am desperate for another book in the werewolf series! I absolutely love everything you write! I’VE listened to all your books at the very least 2 times (most 4 or 5 the last ones I haven’t had enough time for) I can’t wait for Accidental Sire to come out. And maybe more books about ophelia?

    1. I love the naked werewolf books and would also love more. Now that there has been a merger there must be more usable characters.

  5. I love your books and recommend them to my friends all the time. Hilariously good stories! Thanks for being awesome.

  6. Hi Molly,

You are by far my favorite author, I love all your books. My favorite is the Jane Jamison series. Have you ever given any thought, to doing a spinoff series with Jamie and Ophelia?

  7. Hi Molly I just love all your books and can’t wait for the latest in the Half Moon Hollow series. I listen to all your books through Audible but I don’t see where they are available for pre-order. Can you give me a time frame for when they will be. Thank you Cheryl

  8. Hi Molly. I just finished your latest Half-Moon Hollow book for Jamie and Ophelia. Loved it! The combination of your writing and Amanda’s reading have made your books my favorites. I’m a little confused because BVOC is 5.5 when 5 won’t be released until July. Also, it left a few things unresolved. Will the story pickup in another book at a later date? I hope this series continues and would love to see more of the Naked Werewolf series. Keep writing. I love the snark!

      1. Thank goodness! I loved the taste of Ophelia’s point of view and am certainly ready for a full novel.

  9. I am no longer allowed to read your books in bed – I laugh too hard and too much! I love your characters and stories and will now start rereading all your novels as a way to make up for the sadness of waiting for the next book. Thank you for writing Jane, her amazing clan and all of your books.

  10. My husband and I are long haul transport drivers, so signing up for “audible” was perfect for us. So far we have 301 titles in our library which includes every single “Molly Harper” book available on audible. No matter which character, Amanda Ronconi turns them into 3D. She’s the perfect narrator for your writing! The wit and humor sure help the miles fly by. My husband, (who’s never been a book person) has gone through “all” my Molly Harper series several times with me… and laughed out loud! That’s saying something. Really looking forward to your new series, can’t wait to meet my new best friends!

  11. So my daughter, who is almost 11 (she’s one of those kids who was listening to 5th grade reading level books in kindergarten with me to explain what she didn’t understand) will no longer allow me to listen to any of your books without her (I just stop it during any sex scenes and listen on my own until they are done!) she loves Jane and company. It started when I was listening to The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires for a book club, we got Home after listening in the car and she says, “Mommy can you put your book back on?” I lit up and said “always!”. We just finished Jane’s books and are moving on to the rest of Half Moon Hallows soon! She may be one of your youngest fans!!
